Gala celebrates the organization’s achievements, corporate and individual honorees and uplifts young adults with lived experience

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) announces the 2024 NPHY Homecoming Gala – Celebrating the Journey Home! taking place on Thursday, May 16 beginning at 6:30 pm from atop World Market Center at Worldview. This celebration marks the first fundraising gala in over a decade for the organization.

This enchanting evening, reminiscent of high school homecoming celebrations, will be filled with music, dancing, exquisite food, delightful libations, homecoming photos, an awards ceremony honoring some of NPHY’s most dedicated supporters throughout the years, and more.

Corporate honorees at this year’s Homecoming include Las Vegas Sands, Game Changer Award; Credit One Bank, Corporate Champion Award; and Huntington & Ellis, Business Impact Award. Individual honorees include Assemblymember Howard Watts III, The Tyrone Thompson Youth Advocate Award; Judi Keltner, Visionary Award; and Richard Prisbrey and Boy Scout Troop 360, Volunteer of the Year Award.

The event will serve as the major fundraiser for NPHY’s ongoing efforts to provide support and resources to the thousands of homeless youth in the community. Every dollar raised will directly impact the lives of those who need it most, helping NPHY provide shelter, education, and other essential services to support youth experiencing homelessness to transition to safe and stable housing, and realize brighter futures.

“We believe in the transformative power of compassion and opportunity. Supporting NPHY is not just about providing shelter and resources; it is about investing in the future of our community,” said Arash Ghafoori, NPHY CEO. “Every youth deserves a chance to thrive, we are not just giving them a roof over their heads, but also the tools and resources they need to build a better tomorrow. No young person should have to live on the streets, we want them to know that there is support available that can help them transform their lives.”

The 2024 NPHY Homecoming Gala takes place on May 16, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Worldview, atop World Market Center, located at 475 S. Grand Central Pkwy on the 16th floor of Building B. Guests are encouraged to wear their best homecoming attire.

Tickets are now available for individual purchase at $200 per person, and there are a variety of table and sponsor opportunities. These range from the $1,000 Friends of NPHY to the $25,000 Platinum Sponsor. Each includes an increasing number of event tickets, tables and entrance to a VIP reception and increasing awareness opportunities in the event program, website and social media and marketing efforts.
