Doug Geinzer Las Vegas HEALS

Doug Geinzer


Doug Geinzer is a skilled and successful entrepreneur who was built and sold several businesses throughout his career. Most of his success has been found in the healthcare, technology, and employment industries Today, Doug considers himself more of a social entrepreneur spending a significant amount of his time improving Southern Nevada’s health care infrastructure and positioning Las Vegas to become the most globally recognized health & wellness destination.

As CEO of the Las Vegas HEALS, formerly known as the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition, Doug oversees their mission “To foster strategic alliances in the health care community, collaborating on workforce issues and being a proactive force for legislative initiatives to improve access and the delivery of quality health care in Southern Nevada.”

Doug has been the recipient of many awards including Entrepreneur of the Year, Healthcare Hero, Innovative Business Leader, Top 40 under 40, “most influential” in employment and a ‘who’s who’ in healthcare. He is a past president of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Business Council and sits on the boards of numerous organizations.

Geinzer is best known for his development of Recruiting Nevada, which owned and operated the largest statewide job board network in Nevada before he sold it to Greenspun Media Group in 2008. Recruiting Nevada’s healthcare network (which included, and that was contracted by 93% of the hospitals in Las Vegas. The Recruiting Nevada Network attracted an average of 300 highly qualified registered nurse and allied health applicants each month looking to relocate to Las Vegas and solved a community crisis while healthcare education infrastructure was being developed. This solution reduced the average cost-per-hire by over 80%, saving the region hundreds of millions of dollars in inflated labor costs driven up by third party agencies.

Geinzer departed Greenspun Media in 2010 to lead the then Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition (now known as Las Vegas HEALS). Prior to assuming the role of CEO, Geinzer was Chairman of its board of directors. He quickly saw opportunity and positioned the non-profit to assist in workforce development, and was awarded a $750k workforce development grant just a few months later. The Healthcare 20/20 Program has since been recognized the most successful workforce training program in the history of Nevada, delivering a $10.2 economic impact ( or a 14x ROI), creating health care jobs that paid more than double the workforce agencies average salary and creating those jobs for less than 60% of the cost of any other provider.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Doug relocated to Las Vegas in 1993 to build a media company he later sold to Cox and Landmark Communications, moving on to build the largest recruitment advertising agency in Las Vegas that was later repositioned to become Recruiting Nevada. He is married and is raising a multi-lingual young daughter. As an avid water sports fanatic, you will often find Doug stand-up paddling or boating on Lake Sahara.

Bob Cooper


Bob Cooper works with Landmark Development providing international financing for job creating businesses in Nevada, New York, Florida and Georgia. He previously served 14 years as Economic Development & Redevelopment Manager for the City of Henderson, Nevada, has over 40 years of professional experience in economic development and received his national certification in 1982. He has served as the President/CEO of five regional economic development corporations in various states and speaks frequently at local, state and national economic development conferences.

Chris Vito

Secretary / Treasurer

As President and CEO of Nevada Adult Day Healthcare Centers, Chris Vito has successfully utilized over three decades of experience in health care administration and real estate development to fill a gap in senior/elder/disabled care in the Southern Nevada market. He has a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Southern California’s University of La Verne and came to Nevada with HEALTHSOUTH to manage the design, construction, development and operation of its newest hospital in 2001. He was the 2010 State of Nevada Business Person of the Year.

Ann Lynch


Ann Lynch serves as the President of Las Vegas HEALS. Formerly, she was vice president of government relations for Sunrise Health System and is a past president of the Nevada PTA and the Las Vegas Area Council PTA, helping to pass legislation mandating childhood immunizations and the motorcycle helmet law. Lynch has served on the board of The Public Education Foundation, Clark County Family Child Care Association, Ronald McDonald House Steering Committee and the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education

Charles Perry


Charles served as President/CEO of the Nevada Health Care Association, the Trade Association affiliate of the American Health Care Association representing Post-Acute Care facilities in Nevada. He successfully incorporated the NVHCA Perry Foundation in 2011, a 501 © (3) organization that provides Education and Training Programs for Post-Acute Care providers in Nevada. Charles served as Administrator for a number of medical institutions throughout his career.
