An unforgettable summer of fun and growth awaits kids and teens with Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. The nonprofit organization’s Summer Camps are designed to ignite youths’ passions and curiosity with an array of exciting activities tailored for all ages and interests. From budding artists and musicians to aspiring scientists, sports enthusiasts and tech wizards, there’s something for everyone and a convenient location with 13 Clubhouses spread across the entire valley.
There also will be special Fun Fridays and Summer Brain Gain activities, weekly field trips, dress up days and themed music weeks, the latter covering all genres including Motown and R&B, Hip Hop and Rap, Country and Bluegrass, Broadway shows, international music and more.
“We believe every child deserves a safe, connected, nurturing environment to flourish, during the school year and also during school breaks when parents – and teens too – are figuring out what to do with their off-time,” said Andy Bischel, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. “Through affordable membership and financial aid for qualifying families, we ensure that no child misses out on the magic of summer at Boys & Girls Clubs. Whether it’s building skills, forging friendships, or discovering passions, we’ll help them make this summer one they’ll cherish forever.”
Summer Camp starts Monday, May 20 through Thursday, August 8, with hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Clubs offer early drop-offs, late pickups, and convenient locations – perfect for working families. Flexible scheduling is also offered, allowing families to tailor their experience for attendance and vacations.
Annual membership is required to attend, with memberships priced affordably at $35 for youth (ages 6-12) and just $20 for teens (ages 13-18). The Summer Program is competitively priced at $80 to $100 per week for kids (ages 6-12), and teens can attend for free with an annual membership. Both breakfast and lunch are included in the cost, and financial aid is available for qualifying families.
“Summer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is a time for adventure, learning, and making lifelong memories,” said Bischel “Our camps are packed with engaging programs that inspire curiosity and growth, ensuring every child finds their passion and has a blast along the way.”
