Join the USO to support our local active-duty military and their families this Thanksgiving season. Through its USO Fall for Our Troops Thanksgiving Giving Campaign, the USO is raising funds and collecting Thanksgiving meal grocery items to build more than 500 Thanksgiving meal baskets for local service members and their families this fall.

“Holidays can be especially difficult for service members and military families, many of whom are separated from family, home, and country,” said Tim Mullin, executive director, USO Intermountain region. “Military families often sacrifice so much and deserve to have a moment to reconnect and enjoy the holiday, no matter where they are stationed in the world.”

The public can help by donating Thanksgiving wish list grocery items at 15 designated Green Valley Grocery locations or make a cash donation online at USOFallForOurTroops.com through Nov. 11. A list of participating Green Valley Grocery locations and all campaign details can be found at USOFallForOurTroops.com.

When someone makes a monetary donation, they will automatically be entered into a drawing for two (2) tickets to a Bruno Mars concert at Park MGM in December. All monetary donations will also be automatically matched by VegasTickets.com for up to $10,000. The campaign is sponsored by Green Valley Grocery, VegasTickets.com, Lotus Broadcasting, the Las Vegas Review Journal, and Canyon Creative.
