April is Donate Life Month, a national observance dedicated to encouraging more Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors. As part of the month, National Blue and Green Day, observed each year on the second Friday of April, invites the public to wear and display blue and green to raise awareness about donation. In celebration of these observances, Great Buns Bakery is hosting a special cookie promotion, featuring a custom version of its signature half-and-half cookie in blue and green. All proceeds from the sale of these cookies will be donated to the Nevada Donor Network Foundation.
