Networking
Las Vegas HEALS offers several networking opportunities for members to meet other healthcare professionals and those businesses that support healthcare. Our monthly Healthcare Happy Hour quickly became the largest networking event attended by physicians, healthcare administrators, allied health professionals and those that support the growth of healthcare.

Annual Gala
Our annual “Inspired Excellence in Healthcare Awards” recognizes pioneers and leaders of the healthcare industry each year, bringing together the largest audience of healthcare executives, leaders and physicians. Members can attend at a discounted rate and many sponsorship packages include table sponsorship.

Marketing Exposure/Press Releases
Members have the opportunity to submit their press releases and events to be included on the news section of the website, calendar of events and in newsletters.

HEALS Headlines
Members receive a weekly email with the most comprehensive collection of Las Vegas based, healthcare related news. The weekly newsletter also provides the most comprehensive calendar of upcoming medical meeting and events current events. Sign up now!

Join the Conversation
Each year, Las Vegas HEALS starts new conversations that are relevant to the healthcare industry. Past conversation started have included: Medical Tourism, Graduate Medical Education (GME) Expansion, Tort Reform Matters, Medicaid Expansion. Members are invited to “Join the Conversation” and contribute their concerns and solutions.

Recognition
Members are able to participate in a multitude of recognition events including the monthly Customer (Patient) Service Excellence Awards in partnership with the Las Vegas METRO Chamber of Commerce and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority.

Health & Wellness (Medical) Tourism
Las Vegas HEALS has been on the leading edge and driver of Las Vegas’ Medical Tourism efforts. As one of the lead authors of the Regionals Strategic Plan, Las Vegas HEALS can offer insight to practices on how to engage in medical tourism activities and often represents the region at national, regional and international conferences.

Event Discounts
Members receive discounts to attend Las Vegas HEALS’ hosted events including membership meetings, networking events, lunch & learns and signature recognition events.

Continuing Education
Las Vegas HEALS often negotiates access to low-cost or no-cost continuing education for its members. This includes much needed CME and CEUs for local practitioners.

Industry Education
Our “Lunch & Learns” offer insight, expert advice and professional development for members and their staff, often times offering much needed continuing education credits.

Medical Meetings
More medical meetings are held in Las Vegas than most destinations. Las Vegas HEALS partners with many of the meeting & conference managers, negotiating special discounts for members to attend.

Task Force Participation
Members are invited to join any of the Las Vegas HEALS Task Forces including: Workforce/Recruitment, Legislative/Advocacy, Medical Tourism and Communications.

Legislative/Advocacy
Our Legislative Council represents healthcare’s best interest at a local, state and federal level. This Council meets monthly to monitor and engage in all healthcare related activity. It then educates our membership on issues that directly affects them and provides a voice at legislative sessions.

Member Discounts
Las Vegas HEALS has pre-negotiated member discounts on things such as medical supplies, office supplies, payroll & HR services, professional liability insurance, marketing & advertising services and events.
