Several dogs to join in the birthday party fun while also helping to kick off a citywide Pet Supplies Drive for local animal shelters

Snickers the Goldendoodle, Palm Mortuaries & Cemeteries, King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, Heaven Can Wait, Nevada SPCA, Michaels Angels Paws, Amor Peludo Las Vegas, Metro’s Peer Support Liaison Dog, Jimmy, and other therapy and emotional support dogs.

In honor of Snickers the Goldendoodle’s 5thbirthday, King David and Palm Mortuaries are hosting a dog party and Pet Supplies Drive for five nonprofit animal organizations in the Las Vegas valley. The birthday party will serve as the official kick-off to the drive, which will run from September 18 through October 31, and community members are welcome to visit any Palm Mortuaries location and King David to donate items. Any new, unopened, pet-friendly items will be accepted, including: ​

Dog and cat food; treats
Pet toys
Cleaning supplies and laundry detergent
Leashes and collars
Bedding (towels and blankets)

At the festive dog-themed birthday party, the dogs in attendance can expect pup-friendly treats courtesy of Walmart, canine games and prizes, and professional photos with the birthday boy Snickers, courtesy of David Weinstein. Representatives from each benefitting animal organization will also be in attendance.

Many people rely on support animals when they are going through life’s hardships. At King David, Snickers has been that support for many families in that time of need as they deal with the death of a loved one. The Pet Supply Drive encourages community members to donate supplies to the organizations across southern Nevada that provide and care for animals daily.
