“We are excited that Las Vegas HEALS members are joining us at this milestone event for our organization,” said Carole Fisher, President and CEO of Nathan Adelson Hospice. “It has been a tremendous privilege for Nathan Adelson Hospice to care for so many in our community over the last 40 years. As we look towards the next 40 years, we will continue to grow with our community and rededicate ourselves each day to our vision, and to make sure no one ends the journey of life alone, afraid or in pain.”

Nathan Adelson Hospice, the trusted partner in hospice care and palliative medicine for 40 years, is the oldest, largest and only non-profit hospice in Southern Nevada, caring for an average of 400 hospice and palliative care patients daily. In 1978, Nathan Adelson Hospice began providing home care hospice service in Southern Nevada with the mission to offer patients and their loved ones with comprehensive end-of-life care and influence better care for all in the community. Today the hospice is recognized as a national model for superior hospice care and has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” in the nation seven times in the last decade. Nathan Adelson Hospice is proud to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and part of the We Honor Veterans program. Nathan Adelson Hospice is the only hospice in Southern Nevada accredited by the National Institute for Jewish Hospice.

“We are honored to help celebrate Nathan Adelson Hospice’s 40-year anniversary at the next HEALS Healthcare Happy Hour,” said Doug Geinzer, chief executive officer of Las Vegas HEALS. “Our events are a great way to bring members of the Southern Nevada healthcare industry together, and Nathan Adelson Hospice is a great community partner.”
