HCA Healthcare’s Far West Division announced the appointment of Onel Rodriguez as Division Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Rodriguez brings nearly two decades of progressive financial leadership experience across large, complex acute care hospitals, ranging from 200 to more than 700 beds. A strategic and results-driven leader, he is recognized for his ability to connect financial performance with organizational purpose, driving both operational excellence and long-term growth.

Most recently, Rodriguez served as CFO at Riverside Community Hospital, where he led the organization to exceed key strategic goals while positioning it for sustained growth. His leadership focused on strengthening financial performance alongside operational improvements, including enhancing patient throughput, expanding capacity and building sustainable financial frameworks.

Riverside Community Hospital is well known within HCA Healthcare for developing top-tier leadership talent, reflecting a strong track record of cultivating high-performing leaders across the organization.

Prior to Riverside, Rodriguez served as CFO at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital and HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. In these roles, he drove significant margin improvement, strengthened reimbursement capture and advanced major capital expansion initiatives. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, partnering closely with executive and physician leaders to align financial and operational strategies in support of high-quality patient care.

Rodriguez holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Kaplan University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Saint Thomas University.
