Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center is excited to offer a new, free class for moms and dads. Newborn Basics is a hands-on class designed to give new parents confidence in caring for their baby.
This twice monthly class will focus on the essentials of newborn care. From swaddling, soothing, feeding and sleep routines to bathing and understanding diaper cues. Our expert team of caregivers will also cover important safety topics, including infant CPR and proper car seat use.
This new class will be offered on the second Thursday of each month from 10am – 11am and the fourth Monday of each month from 12pm – 1pm at Southern Hills Hospital beginning November 24th. It’s free to attend, we just ask for registration which can be found online at SouthernHillsHospital.com under “Classes and Events.”
“We are committed to helping our parents grow right alongside their infant,” said Women’s Services Director Kristin Boyle. “We want them to know we are here for their whole journey to parenthood and are thrilled to be able to continually add new classes to our schedule.”
Newborn Basics is one of seven free classes that Southern Hills Hospital offers for moms and dads as they prepare for baby and after they deliver.
