Nathan Adelson Hospice, Southern Nevada’s largest non-profit hospice, today announced that compelling keynote speaker, David Feldman, Ph.D., will present the Symposium: “Exploring Behavioral Health Before and At End-Of-Life Care” at the 14th Annual Multicultural Luncheon & Conference on Feb. 23, 2018 at the Renaissance Hotel in Las Vegas. Registration is at 9am with the conference scheduled from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) being offered at this time. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Noted author, national and international speaker, Dr. David Feldman will share the results of his extensive research on post-traumatic growth. His recent book, “Supersurvivors: The Surprising Link Between Suffering and Success” explores the possibilities of resilience and growth in the aftermath of trauma, loss, and adversity through a combination of true stories of survival and the latest scientific research.
Dr. Feldman holds a Ph.D in clinical psychology and is also the author of “The End of Life Handbook” and numerous articles for Psychology Today, Harvard Business Review, ‘O’: The Oprah Magazine and Fortune.
Over four billion people worldwide will survive a trauma during their lives. Some will experience severe post-traumatic stress. Most will eventually recover and return to life as normal. But sometimes, survivors do more than bounce back. Sometimes they bounce forward.
