He is the Director and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at University Medical Center (UMC), Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), and a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The University of Nevada Las Vegas’ (UNLV) School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a member on the Governors Health and Wellness Council and is the 2016 Recipient of the Prestigious “Inspired Excellence in Healthcare Award.”
