Comprehensive Cancer Centers has announced the hiring of oncologist, Dr. Janson Trieu, and advanced nurse practitioners, Tiffany F. Show, Jan Kathleen Stanek, and Damaris Kiptoo.

Dr. Janson Trieu is a medical oncologist and hematologist at Comprehensive’s Central Valley – Twain treatment center, located at 3730 S. Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas. Prior to joining Comprehensive, Dr. Trieu contributed to several medical journals and co-founded the Hematology and Oncology Interest Group at UNLV, which focuses on connecting residents with faculty for research and mentorship. Dr. Trieu completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson before completing his residency in internal medicine at the at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV and his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, N.C.

Tiffany F. Show, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, sees patients at Comprehensive’s Horizon Ridge – Henderson treatment center, located at 2460 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, where she provides oncology care and follow-up care to patients. Tiffany began her career as a registered nurse at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. While obtaining her master’s degree in nursing, she accepted a position as a visiting professor at Chamberlain University College of Nursing, where she continues to teach and evaluate nursing students in the hospital setting. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in human biology from University of California, Merced, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, NV, and a Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in family nurse practitioner from Chamberlain University College of Nursing.

Jan Kathleen Stanek, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, FNP-BC, CMSRN, works out of Comprehensive’s Henderson – Siena treatment center, located at 10001 S. Eastern Avenue, where she helps manage the care and treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders. Prior to joining Comprehensive, Jan gained extensive experience across the U.S. in diverse roles, including medical-surgical nurse, intermediate care nurse, intensive care nurse, lead clinical care coordinator and interventional radiology nurse. She has served at reputable healthcare institutions such as Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Cebu Doctor’s University, a Master of Arts in nursing management from the University of the Visayas and later completed a Master of Science in nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from Chamberlain University in Chicago.

Damaris Kiptoo, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, provides patient care at Comprehensive’s Northwest treatment center, located at 7445 Peak Drive. Damaris started her professional journey as a licensed practical nurse at Trinity Nursing and Rehab in Shawnee, Kansas. Prior to joining Comprehensive, she served as a registered nurse in the Telemetry and Surgical Unit, Transplant unit, Cardiac Step-down unit, Spine and Orthopedics and was also able to help treat Oncology patients at the University Medical Center, providing pre and post operative care, assessment, and medication administration. Damaris graduated from Neosho County Community College, in Kansas with an Associate of Science in nursing before completing the Bachelor of Science in nursing program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She further advanced her education at United States University in San Diego, California, where she received a Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in family nurse practitioner.
