Companies Look to Provide Integrated Ground and Air Medical Transportation Solution to Create Better Patient Outcomes

Miller leads new, combined efforts.

AMR and MedicWest in conjunction with AirMed announced today that Donna Miller, Founder and President of Las Vegas based Lifeguard International‐Flying ICU, and most recently Market Development Director for AIrMed, will become the Regional Director of American Medical Response, Nevada operations as the companies focus on providing an integrated ground and air medical transportation solution to create better patient outcomes, strong community relationships and a more complete business model.

“This is an exciting transition for me as it brings together my experience working in hospital, pre‐hospital and medical transport and allows me to build on the exceptional reputation and high‐level of quality service that AMR, MedicWest and AirMed have built in Southern Nevada. Service to our community is our top priority and this will allow us to further strengthen our life saving capabilities,” said Miller.

Miller brings more than 20 years of demonstrated successful experience in healthcare. She is an EMS Certified Registered Nurse and a Certified Medical Transportation Executive. She has played key roles in the local and national medical transportation industry in her role with Lifeguard International‐Flying ICU, most recently AIrMed. She currently serves in multiple healthcare related consortiums including, the State of Nevada, EMS Advisory Committee, the Nevada Nurses’ Association and the Las Vegas HEALS (Health, Education, Advocacy, and Leadership in Southern Nevada) coalition.

“We are excited to have someone with Donna’s experience and demonstrated ability to help us to implement and roll‐out an integrated approach to medical transportation in the Southern Nevada market. She is a unique and dedicated individual who brings a wealth of local and national experience to this important role in our service to the Las Vegas community,” said Steven Dralle, President, AMR South Region.

“While we are sad to lose Donna from our AirMed team, we are excited for what her new role will allow our combined entities to accomplish for our Nevada‐based partners. She has been a key figure in the air ambulance community in Las Vegas for more than 20 years and we look forward to carrying forward her legacy as well as expanding our product offerings to our hospital partners,” said Denise Treadwell, President, AirMed.
