Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada is Calling All Superheroes to Help Save the Day!
The 2022 SuperHero 5K is Saturday, September 17 at 8 a.m. at Mountain’s Edge Exploration Peak Park
Grab your capes! In conjunction with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Candlelighters is gearing up for one of its biggest public events of the year, the Superhero 5K. The community is invited to join in on Saturday, September 17 at Mountain’s Edge Exploration Peak Park.
In addition to the 5K race, there will be family activities available as well including food, drinks and activities like Kids Zone.
All funds raised from the 5K will benefit the families served by Candlelighters.
SuperHero 5K Timeline:
7 a.m. – Race Day Registration Opens
7:30 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies
8 a.m. – Race Starts
8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Post-race fun, food, and activities like Kids Zone available
9:30 a.m. – Awards Ceremony
10:30 a.m. – SuperHero 5K concludes
